Workshop: Start Coding in Dedoose

Facilitated by Sarah Smith and Esther Spindler, two researchers and trainers from Dedoose, this workshop covers the fundamentals of using Dedoose for both qualitative and mixed methods research projects, including import different data types (interviews, focus groups, images), set up your project structure, code and memo, from initial codes to more sophisticated coding schemes. You will also learn about Dedoose’s collaborative features, including sharing projects, managing user permissions, and developing a codebook that keeps coding consistent across research teams or advisors.
