Wendy Kraglund-Gauthier, PhD, is an educator, researcher, and consultant with over 25 years’ experience in K–12, post-secondary, and adult learning contexts. She has been with Yorkville University since 2016 and is currently the Associate Dean (Research) and Chair, Adult Education with the Faculty of Education. She serves as the Vice-Chair of the REB and is a member of the Canadian Association of Research Ethics Boards (CAREB). Her scholarly interests are situated in program development and evaluation, digital pedagogy, accessibility, and literacies, mostly in adult learning community-based contexts. She is keenly interested in the ethical implications of conducting research, especially in online spaces and also the use of GenAI in its many forms as a research tool.
Wendy brings her own experiences and expertise to talk about how personal interests and professional experiences can spark research with real-world influence.
