This session will invite faculty and staff to explore the evolving role of artificial intelligence in academic research\, including how AI can support idea development\, literature reviews\, research design\, data analysis\, writing\, and collaboration. With over two decades of experience spanning higher education\, consulting\, and industry leadership\, he bridges academic research with real-world organizational challenges. His research focuses on the strategic application of AI in business and public sector contexts\, exploring intelligent decision systems\, digital transformation\, sustainability\, responsible AI\, and organizational innovation\, particularly how emerging technologies can boost performance while addressing governance\, ethics\, and societal impact. He has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences on AI\, sustainable leadership\, predictive analytics\, and strategic transformation.

DESCRIPTION:Our next workshop will welcome Dr. Michelle K. McGinn\, Professor of Educational Studies at Brock University and Editor-in-Chief of the Canadian Journal of Higher Education. She is co-editor of The Social Production of Research: Perspectives on Funding and Gender (Routledge)\, and author of 70 scholarly articles and book chapters. She is a keen supporter of residential academic writing retreats and other collaborative writing ventures. Writing for publication involves joining a scholarly conversation with other authors and potential readers. This interactive workshop introduces practical strategies to shape your arguments\, assess potential journal outlets\, craft compelling texts\, and respond to reviewers.
